Head to the booking system and scroll forward to the competition date (listed under the location of the event) to book and pay for your event. SLAM MAN: Students will compete in pairs against the dummies and will be awarded points for good techniques and focus. Uncontrolled moves will result in penalty. KUMITE: Students will compete against their opponent, and will be awarded points for controlled and accurate techniques. Younger children and lower belts will perform their kata in groups of two or three and higher belts will perform their kata individually. Teachers can record and photograph student behaviour and display student. KATA: Students will perform their kata that they practise in class. ClassDojo assigns students brightly coloured monster avatars that teachers can. The Referees will organise students into categories once the list of competitors are finalised. Given the success of the October 2021 competitions, we are currently in the process of planning competition dates for 2022 - more information to be released soon! These are available to purchase from your instructor. All students taking part will require hand pads, leg pads and a mouth guard. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will receive a medal and will be eligible to enter the Kazen Kai Champion of Champions event. All entries will receive a participation award.

These competitions are ideal for introducing students to competitive karate. Children will be placed into groups best suited according to their belt, age and height to try and ensure a positive experience for all.

This will be followed by an after show party at the theatre. We are pleased to announce that we are holding a Fight Night, where our specially selected students will compete in Karate and Kick Boxing events at the Brentwood theatre on the 27th November (7:30pm – 10:30pm).
